On December 15, 2015, the official ISO /IEC 19845:2015 Universal Business Language Version 2.1 (UBL 2.1) was published, making UBL an official international ISO standard.
This means that standard documentation in XML format is internationally recognised and will be more readily available to businesses and system integrators worldwide.
