Sequenced Supply: A Strategic Project for the Melfi Plant
As part of the implementation of new Corail processes at the strategic Melfi plant in Italy, ICD International supported the implementation of sequenced supply for two new models: the DS 8, a premium vehicle from the Stellantis range, and the electric Jeep Compass.
Sequenced Supply to Optimize Inventory Management
Sequenced supply is essential to meet the diverse demands of increasingly discerning customers. It ensures the delivery of parts in the exact order of their assembly.
This method allows for:
- Optimizing inventory management
- Reducing errors
- Supporting vehicle customization
A Project at the Intersection of Supply Chain and IT
ICD International leveraged its expertise in industrial logistics and IT to support its clients B3 and Lear in adapting their systems to the production of new models on the platform STLA Medium, designed for tomorrow's electric vehicles.
By integrating and developing its digital tools, and by ensuring the coordination of flows between suppliers and production lines Stellantis, ICD International enabled a smooth transition to this supply model.
The implementation of the Syflux solution played a key role in synchronizing exchanges and operational efficiency.
